I may be crying writing this.

The other day I was talking to my mom and she was looking at her phone, not paying attention to anything I was saying... typical

just kidding mom(: 

So of course I was so interested in why she wasn't listening to me she told me she was looking at this page on Facebook... titled "Mitchell's Journey" Later that night I went and looked at the page myself, wow I have not cried that hard for someone else in a really long time. This is a page about a 10 year old boy who was born with "Duchene Muscular Dystrophy, a catastrophic muscle wasting disease which results in progressive muscle deterioration and is fatal by late teens/early twenties." I only recently started following his story, and unfortunately he passed away on Saturday March 2, 2013 at 10 years old.

If you think that your life is hard you have no idea. This family is so strong and has gone through so much the last 10 years of their dear Mitchell's life. 

It makes me so sad to think that I have a little brother just the same age, and I cannot even imagine what this family goes through every day! Like I said, I cannot imagine what this family is going through, and has gone through. It breaks my heart. Knowing that life is so short and can be taken away from you in just the blink of an eye. It makes me love my family more and more every day, and knowing that I am so blessed right now, this very moment to be here alive. Blessed that the good lord has granted me another day. I love my family so much and I don't know what I would do if something happened to any of them.
