These last 3 months I got the opportunity to coach an 8th grade team.
Lets just say it was definitely an adventure all its own, and by adventure I mean
C.R.A.Z.Y.
but... crazy fun.
Being around a bunch of 8th and 9th graders 3 days a week, they are freaking hilarious.
I'd never coached a team before, sure I've helped out at camps and stuff, but coaching my own team.
what????
I knew it was going to be a challenge, and yes it was. But it was so much fun and so rewarding.
We split up into 2 teams, Provo 1 and Provo 2. I was so happy that the Provo 2 coach was awesome and we worked really well together!
